Let’s Give Crime and Drugs a Going Away Party!!!!

Tonight’s the night!

Join us at the Auburn Hills Community Center at 1827 N. Squirrel Road Auburn HIlls for a GOING AWAY PARTY for crime and illegal drugs in our community – our award imageswinning National Night Out celebration.  Our theme is NO BULLYING to bring attention to the idea that we can make our community better by not engaging in behaviors that persecute other people who may not be like us.

We’ll have fun and food (no taste fest this year) with lots to see and do.  New this year is a prescription drug take back box.  Surveys nationally have shown that drug abuse often starts at home with kids who use the left over prescriptions of other family members because they are perceived to be safe since they are not street drugs.  Certain prescription drugs are known to have street value as well.  People are often confused about how to dispose of left over medications.  Flushing them down the toilet isn’t a good solution since it can contaminate our water supply.  So bring them to NNO and we will have a drug disposal unit available.  Please, no liquids.

We hope to see you here!
